"The Barefoot Planners" was created by Jana Mattox.  Since her family has been visiting the island for over 25 years, she has established deep roots within the community & has developed strong relationships with some of the top vendors in both the US & Mexico. 

After years working in the wedding planning and event industry, Jana decided that the time was right to take what she had learned and inject it with her own style and eclectic twist.

It is true what they say- "If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life". That phrase took new meaning when she decided to take the leap and establish her business of creating, styling & managing dream events for clients from across the globe with a huge team behind the scenes. Each client gives us an opportunity to collaborate and create a look and feel that they previously thought could have only been dreamt of.
